Anti-Fifty Shades of Grey people, rejoice! I recently was skimming through my tumblr posts when I found out about the new parody book “Fifty Shames of Earl Grey”.
“Fifty Shames of Grey” by the author Fanny Merkins, is a parody on the trilogy written by E.L James. Here’s a short summary on it!
A shrewd, laugh–out–loud parody of E. L. James’ bestselling Fifty Shades of Grey series:
Young, arrogant, tycoon Earl Grey seduces the naïve coed Anna Steal with his overpowering good looks and staggering amounts of money, but will she be able to get past his fifty shames, including shopping at Walmart on Saturdays, bondage with handcuffs, and his love of BDSM (Bards, Dragons, Sorcery, and Magick)? Or will his dark secrets and constant smirking drive her over the edge?
I haven’t read the book yet, I’m planning to because it seems like a good laugh! Oh and my best friend thinks I’m buying it because the title has the name of my favorite tea, Earl Grey. If you read it, please enlighten us with your thoughts on it! Go to goodreads for reviews and updates on the book.
